By downloading the Operon desktop application or accessing the web dashboard at operonapp.dev you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
Operon provides a command-center layer for AI-assisted development. The core product is a desktop application that runs locally on your machine. An optional web dashboard and cloud sync service (“Operon Cloud”) is available for paid subscribers.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will endeavour to provide 14 days’ notice for material changes affecting paid subscribers.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@operonapp.dev if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials.
Accounts are personal and non-transferable unless you hold a Team plan that explicitly includes seat reassignment.

You retain full ownership of your source code and session data. By enabling cloud sync you grant us a limited, revocable licence to store and transmit your session metadata solely to provide the sync service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
Paid plans are billed in advance. All fees are stated in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. We use Dodo Payments to process payments; your payment details are governed by their terms and never stored by us.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. The Solo Local plan is a one-time lifetime licence with no recurring charge. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase for new subscribers who have not exceeded 50 cloud-synced sessions.
All plans begin with a 14-day free trial. No payment is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, access to paid features requires a subscription or one-time purchase. Local-only features continue to work without payment on the Solo Local plan once purchased.
The Operon name, logo, and application code are proprietary. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to our intellectual property beyond what is needed to use the service.
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. AI-generated session intelligence (preflight analysis, predictions, DNA insights) is provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the service and cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination you lose access to cloud-synced data; locally stored data remains yours.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
We may update these Terms periodically. We will post the revised Terms with an updated effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
